CAT EYES & CHEEK LIFT
Dr Yazan’s signature “cat eye” surgery is a specialist eyebrow and eye lift recommended for patients with drooping brows and ‘sad eyes’, or patients who want a more feline feminine look. With unnoticeable incisions behind the hairline above the temple area, this is a deep plane procedure.
Therefore, all underlying tissues are tightened under the skin combined with a cheek lift to support the eye. It is imperative that outer corners of the brows, temples and eyes are lifted in unison with the cheeks for a satisfying result. Dr Yazan’s “Cat Eyes” are one of the key components in his popular “Barbie makeover”.
Patients require general anaesthesia and 1 night stay in hospital.
CAT BLEPHAROPLASTY
“Cat blepharoplasty” (upper blepharoplasty) is Dr Yazan’s distinctive way of reshaping the eyes. This very popular surgery is perfect for patients with a heavy upper eyelid (hooded eyes) or excess sagging skin in the upper eye crease. The skin on the upper lid is reduced and transformed with an almost invisible incision in his signature ‘S’ shape which gives the patient a beautiful feline result. Dr Yazan offers a cat blepharoplasty as an addition to complement his “cat eye” lift procedure for a more beautiful feline result.
LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY
The lower blepharoplasty is for a patient with excess skin on the lower eyelids or bags under the eyes. As we age the supportive muscles under the skin beneath the eyes weaken and as a result the skin sags and creates bags or this problem can be hereditary from a young age.
Lower blepharoplasty eliminates the patient’s droopy eyelids by making an almost invisible incision under the lower lash line, tightening the small muscle under the patient's eye and removing and lifting the excess skin. Dr Yazan offers this procedure as an optional addition to his ‘cat eye and cheek lift’ surgery for optimum results.
CANTHOPLASTY
Canthoplasty is recommended for a patient with very round eyes or when the outer corner of their eye is lower than the inner corner. This is called a negative canthal tilt which can make you look old, tired or sad. The procedure involves lengthening the outer corners of the eye with small incisions to transform the round sad shape to an almond shape. Dr Yazan offers this procedure as an optional addition to his ‘cat eye and cheek lift’ surgery for optimum results.
